Broadway Babies:
Students, 2-3 years of age, will learn basic movement, dance, and classroom behavior in a fun-filled, creative atmosphere.

Combo Dance:
Children will be taught ballet, tap, and jazz (20-minutes each). This is an excellent way to introduce children to dance. Perfect for beginners! (Combo II is open to students with one or more years of combo dance at Broadway Bound)

Tumble/Funk:
This is a new class at Broadway Bound! This class is a combination of hip hop and tumbling. Students will have fun learning “funky” moves as well as basic tumbling techniques.

Hip-Hop:
Commonly known as “street dancing,” students will have fun learning funky moves to the latest music. Junior Hip Hop is open to students Pre-K and Kindergarten. Hip Hop I is open to students 6yr or above (first grade and above). Hip Hop II and III are based on the student’s technique and level. Placement is determined by the instructor.

Adult Classes:
The class will be taught at the level of the participants. All levels are welcome. Students may “drop in” at $12/class or register for the entire session.

Lyrical I and II:
Lyrical combines ballet and jazz. Students will learn contemporary choreography while improving on their classroom technique. Lyrical I is open to students enrolled in Ballet/Jazz III and Ballet IV. Lyrical II is open to students enrolled in Ballet V/VI. Placement is determined by the instructor.

Leaps and Turns:
Students will focus on their leaping and turning technique. Students will need 5lb adjustable ankle weights for the class. This class is open to students enrolled in level IV classes and above.

Pointe:
This class is open to students enrolled in Ballet V/VI. Placement is determined by the instructor. Students must have a proper fitting for their pointe shoes. The teacher will evaluate the shoes before the student attends the class.

Musical Theater:
This class promotes stage-presence and self-confidence through positive reinforcement for learning stage direction, choreography, vocal production, musicianship, and live performance. Musical Theater I is open to students ages 6 (first grade)-10yr. Placement in the Musical Theater II and III classes is determined by the instructor.

Theater Play:
This class introduces fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, movement, and performance while
promoting self-confidence through song, dance, and creative musical play activities.

Level II and up Classes:
Broadway Bound also offers all levels of tap, ballet, and jazz to students of all ages. Students must level into the following classes; Ballet/Jazz II and III, Ballet IV, Jazz IV, Ballet V/VI, Jazz V/VI, Tap II, and Tap III. Please call the studio for details. Placement is determined by the instructor.

Ballet is the foundation for jazz dance. It is important for students enrolled in a jazz class to also enroll in a ballet class. Students will progress at a faster pace if both classes are taken at the same time. Students enrolled in Jazz IV are STRONGLY advised to enroll in Ballet IV. Students enrolled in Jazz V/IV MUST enroll in Ballet V/VI. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Level I classes are open to students 6 (first grade) and above. Students are not required to level into a level I class.

Students will be placed into the appropriate level based on their ability as determined by the instructor.
